Sannohe Municipal Museum of History and Folklore / Sannohe Castle History Museum

Located inside Sannohe Castle Ruins, Joyama Park, the museums have materials on Mr. Nanbu, relics from the Jomon Period to ancient times, in addition to materials on people and items connected to the local area.
The Sannohe Castle History Museum adjacent, has a three-floor exterior made to resemble the corner tower of Sannohe Castle, in addition to a four-floor building inside. There are displays on the feudal lord Nanbu, weapons of retainers, ornaments, and ancient texts. On the top floor, there is an observation area where you can look out over the town, too.
