The building of michinoeki (Roadside Station) Sannohe is made with a traditional Japanese design and made to look like old samurai residences.

There is an especially good selection of Sannohe rice crackers (Nanbu rice crackers), so you can try a great variety of flavors.
In addition, there is a collection of goods from "Eleven Hungry Cats", the masterpiece of Noboru Baba, a manga artist from the town.
In the adjacent Sanchoku Hiroba, there are processed goods made using fresh vegetables and fruit from farmers in the town on sale.
You can also enjoy local, popular food such rice cake skewers and hittsumi soup.
