A fantastic sight with light streaming through the trees and moss growing on the rocks

Uriwari no Taki Falls, located in the back of Tentokuji Temple, is a clear spring that gushes out from a crack in the rocks in the mountains and cascades down the slope.
The water temperature is constant throughout the year, and even in summer, it is so cold that a watermelon soaked in the water will break, hence the name "Uriwari-no-taki" (Uriwari Falls).

The forest that spreads out around Uriwari-no-taki Falls is also called "water forest," with light streaming through the trees and moss growing on the rocks, creating a fantastic sight.
The red stones near the spring's outlet are covered with rare red algae that grow only in this spring water, giving the stones a reddish hue.

The water from Uriwari-no-taki Falls, which has been selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan, is rich in minerals, and is loved and drunk by many people for being different from other springs.
