Mt. Shigi and the Sengoku-no-Yume Kaido Road

Since ancient times, Mt. Shigi has been known as the mountain to be revered and honored. It is the sacred place where Prince Shotoku prayed for victory during his battles against Mononobe-no-Moriya, and was the first place in Japan where the Bishamonten was said to appear.
The trail begins at Tatsutagawa Station, and passes by Mikushi Shrine and the sanctuary of Mt. Shigi, on its way to the mountain itself.
Walk along the paths of dreams left by ancient nobles and warriors, from ancient times to the Warring States period.
