A cosmos clearing with 400,000 plants and a cosmos highway spanning 5km
Cosmos Clearing is near the Hokubo Interchange. In autumn, about 400,000 cosmos plants are in full bloom, and Cosmos Highway, which continues to Bitchu River, is also beautifully colored.
In mid-October, in particular, the Hokubo Cosmos Festival is held. It features various attractions and sales of local specialties, and it turns into a big, lively event.
During the festival period, you can also enjoy pink and white cosmos. A cosmos walk and a cosmos photo contest are also held.
