Serizawa Keisuke Art Museum

The Serizawa Keisuke Art Museum was built when the influential dye artist Serizawa Keisuke (1895-1984) donated his works and collection to his hometown, Shizuoka city.
Since its opening in 1981, the museum has been introducing Serizawa’s art to many people, performing activities to communicate his remarkable work to later generations.
Being a dye artist’s museum, which is rare in Japan, this museum attracts many dye-art fans.
