Shizuoka City Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art

This museum is Japan’s first ukiyo-e museum named after the famous artist Hiroshige.
The museum houses about 1,400 items, mainly landscape prints.
These include Hiroshige’s representative series Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido as well as his later-year masterpiece series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo.
The museum rotates the exhibition from its collection every month, and it often holds lectures and gallery-talks.
