Okunitama-jinja Shrine
Around 1900 years ago, this shrine is said to have been the first established to worship Ōkunitama no Ōkami, the guardian deity of the Musashi Province.
A deity said to grant knowledge of medical and magical techniques, Ōkunitama no Ōkami is commonly known as a god of fortune, matchmaking, warding off evil and protection from misfortune.
The shrine holds various events, such as the "Kurayami Matsuri Festival" in May, throughout the year.
