The Tajikawa Bansho Shoin was used to be an accomondation place for the feudal lords in the Edo period (1603 - 1868).
The Sankin-Kotai (alternate attendance system) is the feudal lords’ working system for the Edo Shogunate in the Edo period.
It is one of the important cultural assets of the country.
