Inoue Genzaburo Museum

Genzaburo Inoue was the leader of the 6th unit of the Shinsengumi, and his older brother Matsugoro was Hachioji Sennin Doshin (a junior official in Hachioji), both of whom were considerably involved in the history of the Meiji Restoration at the end of the Edo period.
Run by the descendant of the Inoue family, the museum displays materials on the Shinsengumi and Hachioji Sennin Doshin and a sword presented by Isami Kondo to the bother of Genzaburo.
