Sato Hikogoro and Shinsengumi Museum
While serving as Toiya (a wholesale agent) and Nanushi (a village headman), Hikorogo Sato continued to support the Shinsengumi.
Run by the descendant of the Sato family, the museum displays historical materials that show how deeply he was connected with members of the Shinsengumi, such as a pistol of Isami Kondo, a sword “Echizen Yasutsugu” used by Toshizo Hijikata, and letters of Soji Okita.
