Takahata Fudo-son

Takahata Fudo-son, one of the three major Fudo in Kanto, hold various events throughout the year.
In addition to the statue of Fudo Myoo and Nio-mon Gate (both are important cultural properties), it is possible to enjoy the changing four reasons and the landscape on its precincts of 30,000 tsubo (99,000 square meters).
The Ajisai Festival (hydrangea flowers festival) and the Autumn Leaves Festival are held in the temple.
The temple is a family temple of Toshizo Hijikata and houses his memorial tablet at the Dainiti-do Hall.
The statue of Toshizo Hijikata also stands in the precincts.
