Daishoji Temple
This temple was founded by Sanyo Shonin in 1602.
The tombs of Hikosaburo Sato, the biggest supporter of the Shinsengumi, and his wife named Nobu (the elder sister of Toshizo Hijikata) are in the precincts.
“Sepppo-Shiki-Yo-Shu (a collection of preaching guidance books)” written by Sanyo Shonin that is owned by the temple is designated as a historical monument of Tokyo (It is not open to the public).
