Hosenji Temple

Established in 1329, it is a temple of the Kenchoji branch of the Rinzai school.
In the precincts, there is a monument to honor Genzaburo Inoue, the leader of the 6th unit of the Shinsengumi, which is also his tomb. His fans constantly visit the temple to commemorate his life.
There are also “Mochiage Kannon (a kannon statue that can be picked up)” and the tomb of Shirobe Kanemaru in the precincts.
