Circle Lamp

This work is a glass lamp inspired by the flickering of light when looking up at the sky from the bottom of the sea.
The creator is Mr. Chuzaburo Ishibashi, a glass sculptor from Hachinohe City, who is a pioneer of studio glass (*) artists in Japan.
Mr. Ishibashi directed the eyes to the open-air space Hacchi Court that runs through the center of Hacchi's building, with the intention of letting the sparkle of his creation flow out into space.

*Studio glass: Glassworks were created by the division of labor between craftsmen who thought about the design of the work and glass sculptors who created the shape. In the early 1960s, the Glass Arts Movement emerged, in which a single artist did everything, and this production style came to be called "studio glass."
