Misawa City Memorial hall of Forerunners

Visit to see exhibits materials on the Japan’s forefathers that lived at the end of the Edo period, including Yasuto Hirosawa, who started Japan's first private Western style ranch.
The "Rokujuku Shusodo," a residence of Yasuto Hirosawa that has been restored, and the "Kaikonson," a reproduction of a ranch from that period, can be found nearby, offering visitors a chance to see the roots of Misawa City.
