Yachihoko Jinja – Yachihoko-no-Mikoto
Yachihoko Jinja enshrines Yachihoko-no-Mikoto, who is believed to be a god of good luck, since he overcame various hardships and paved a way for others to follow.
He is also believed to be the god of victory in sports and the martial arts, since he was a great warrior with spiritual power who skillfully administered the lands.
Held in great esteem by the Shogunate, the shrine’s various buildings were constructed after the main shrine was built.
