Kushibiki Hachimangu Shrine

Kushibiki Hachimangu Shrine has attracted many devotees as the Ichinomiya (most revered shrine) in southern Aomori.
Ichinomiya refers to a shrine that is considered the most prestigious in a certain region.
The main hall is designated as a national important cultural property as its valuable structure represents the style of shrines in the early Edo period.
The National Treasure Gallery on the temple grounds houses many national treasures and cultural assets and is open to visitors.
The Meiji Memorial Hall, also within the temple precincts, is known as the oldest existing Western-style building in the prefecture.
