An Early Summer Oasis in Bloom

Misato Lavender Garden is one of the leading flower spots in the prefecture, where about 20,000 lavender plants burst into bloom with the arrival of early summer.
The garden, set on a hillside with sweeping views, grows not only the familiar purple lavender but also Misato’s original white variety, Misato Sekka.
Visitors can enjoy the gentle fragrance drifting through the air and the contrast of soft colors.

The best time to see the lavender is from mid to late June.
During the flowering season, the annual Lavender Festival draws many visitors, with stalls selling lavender goods, gourmet food stands, and an area where guests can try lavender picking.
The grounds also feature a playground, making the garden popular with families as well as flower lovers.
