Sweet strawberries and “forest custard” pawpaw
Yagihara Farm is dedicated to growing safe, high-quality strawberries with a rich, well-balanced flavor.
Careful cultivation and attention to taste are at the heart of the farm’s strawberry production.
The farm also grows pawpaw, a rare fruit known locally as “mori no custard” (“forest custard”) for its rich, custard-like flesh.
Each autumn, Yagihara Farm’s pawpaw is sold at the direct sales corner of Roadside Station Fruits Park Ashigakubo.
