Call for Exhibitors: “Densha de Yamato Mahoroba Sumo Marche” at Osaka-Abenobashi Station

Applications are now open for businesses wishing to exhibit at the “Densha de Yamato Mahoroba Sumo Marche” at Osaka-Abenobashi Station on Saturday, December 19, 2026.
The event will feature a market inside a Kintetsu train stationed at Osaka-Abenobashi Station, where local specialties and other products from Katsuragi, Kashiba, and Sakurai cities will be sold.

Inside a train at Platform 4 of Osaka-Abenobashi Station
The event is scheduled to take place inside a dedicated market train stationed at Osaka-Abenobashi Station.

Exhibitor Activities
Product sales, hands-on activities, and other programs
- Products for sale must, in principle, be individually packaged.
- Food and drink samples may be offered only with prior consultation with and approval from the Yamato Mahoroba Sumo Liaison Council.
- Alcoholic beverages may be sold if the exhibitor completes the necessary procedures with the relevant authorities, including the relevant tax office in Osaka Prefecture.
- Cooking and the use of open flames are prohibited.
- Electricity will not be available.
Sales Commission
5% of total sales, including consumption tax and other applicable taxes
The commission is normally 15%, but the Yamato Mahoroba Sumo Liaison Council will cover 10 percentage points.
The sales commission will be 0% for exhibitors selling sumo-related products.
Exhibition Space
Each exhibition space will be approximately 3.65 m × 0.9 m. Products will be displayed on train seats measuring approximately 3 m × 0.4 m.
The organizer will review what each exhibitor plans to offer and assign booth locations by lottery. The layout may change depending on the number of exhibitors.
Exhibitors are responsible for providing any equipment and supplies needed for their booth.
Electricity cannot be used.

Expected Attendance
Approximately 1,000 visitors
Visitors who are not traveling on Kintetsu trains can also attend free of charge by receiving an admission pass in front of the ground-level West Gates.
