Where Food, Art, and Community Come Together

Nestled beside the forest of the Toride campus, Geidai Shokudo is open to everyone as a welcoming space to enjoy meals or coffee while spending time freely—chatting, relaxing, meeting, reading, or remote working.
More than just a cafeteria, it is a place to reflect on the connection between food and life, encounter artistic expression, or even take part in activities like cultivating the soil.
Meals are prepared with traceable ingredients and cooked with care by hand, based on the belief that food is the closest practice linking creation and living.
Geidai Shokudo values diversity, bringing together people of many backgrounds—different cultures, languages, values, and generations, from infants to the elderly.
By embracing artistic expression that responds to social change, it seeks to be a living space that supports each person’s way of creating and living, where food, art, and community are nourished together.
