Former Residence of the Tanaka Family

The former Tanaka family residence, a historical architectural structure that retains the characteristics of a traditional Japanese house of the Meiji period (1868-1912), is a registered tangible cultural property of Japan.
To preserve the residence and open it to the public for cultural activities, the city relocated the main building and renovated the facilities.
