Yakinotoge Tumulus
On the northern side of Shiroyama mountain, there's a zenpokohofun {a type of ancient burial mound} dating from the Kofun period {second half of the third century}.
At 40m in total length, this zenpokohofun is the largest in Kyushu.
It is thought to be the tomb of the regional chief at the time.
