Mt. Omuro
Mt. Omura has a unique silhouette that looks like a bowl laid face down.
Head up to the summit on a lift which will bring you on a refreshing aerial walk.
Walk around the crater which measures about 1km in diameter, from where you can enjoy the scenic views of Mt. Fuji, the Izu Islands, Sagami Bay, and others.
On sunny days, the photo spot with Mt. Fuji in the background is very popular! Near the crater, you may visit the "Omuroyama Sengen Shrine" to pray for childbirth and matchmaking or enjoy archery and other fun activities.
On the 2nd Sunday of February each year, they carry out a traditional festival whereby they burn the whole mountain, attracting myriads of tourists.
