RIKEN YAMAMOTO EXHIBITION — Community and Architecture
July 19 – November 3, 2025 | Yokosuka Museum of Art (B2F)

This exhibition presents the 50-year design career of architect Riken Yamamoto (b.1945), winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2024.
Approximately 60 works including models, drawings, sketches, and paintings reveal Yamamoto’s exploration of “SHIKII: threshold,” the boundary between public and private space as a vital connector to the local community. His architecture has been celebrated worldwide for enriching not only residents’ lives but also the wider community.

Held at the Yokosuka Museum of Art, one of Yamamoto’s masterpieces, this is the largest exhibition ever devoted to his design philosophy.

Day ticket (Group of 20 persons or more)
・Adults: ¥2000 (¥1600)
・University Students / Senior over 65: ¥1000 (¥800)

・Including admission to the Taniuchi Rokuro Pavilion
・Not including admission to the special exhibitions held on the 1st floor (separate ticket required)
・Entry is free for high school students residing in Yokosuka or students attending high school in Yokosuka
・Free admission for persons with a disability pass and one accompanying caretaker
・Not eligible for “Museum Passport” and “Yokosuka MANKITSU Ticket”
