Yokosuka Night Market Debuts July 24|Live Music, Craft Beer, and Local Food by the Harbor

Yokosuka Night Market will make its debut at YOKOSUKA PORT MARKET on Friday, July 24, 2026.

The evening event brings together live music, craft beer from Yokosuka and the surrounding region, food stalls, an outdoor DJ area, merchandise vendors, and traditional festival games for children.

Set beside Yokosuka’s waterfront, the market offers visitors a place to enjoy food and music from late afternoon into the evening.

Spend an Evening by the Harbor with Music, Beer, and Food

Yokosuka Night Market will run from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. inside YOKOSUKA PORT MARKET and in a specially designated outdoor event area.

Visitors can stop by after sightseeing in central Yokosuka, enjoy dinner and drinks by the harbor, or spend the evening exploring the different indoor and outdoor programs.

Food vendors, merchandise stalls, and festival games for children add more ways to enjoy the evening, making the event suitable for families as well as visitors interested in music and craft beer.

Live Performances by Artists Connected with Yokosuka

A special live music program will take place inside the market.

The lineup includes RUEED & RYUKOH and Hanah Spring, with LUKE appearing as DJ and MC and KEI NAKAYAMA appearing as a DJ.

Visitors can enjoy the performances while ordering food and drinks from the market’s restaurants and participating vendors.

Six Craft Beer Producers Join the Market

Craft beer served at Yokosuka Night Market at YOKOSUKA PORT MARKET.

Six craft beer producers from Yokosuka and nearby areas are scheduled to participate:

YOKOSUKA BEER, Horyuzan Brewery, Miura Peninsula Beer, Roto Brewery, GRANDLINE BREWING, and BEER LABO.

The lineup includes beers made with local agricultural products and regional ingredients, distinctive varieties using unusual ingredients, and craft beer brewed in Kurihama by a Buddhist monk.

The different producers give visitors an opportunity to compare a range of flavors and brewing styles in one location.

Selected vendors, including YOKOSUKA BEER, will also offer a happy hour from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with craft beer discounted by ¥100.

Complimentary Craft Beer for the First 200 Visitors

One complimentary craft beer will be available to the first 200 visitors who receive a numbered ticket.

Ticket distribution begins at 4:00 p.m. All complimentary servings must be collected by 8:30 p.m.

Quantities are limited, so visitors hoping to receive the offer should arrive early.

Charcoal-Grilled Miyazaki Jitokko for the First 250 Visitors

Numbered tickets for complimentary charcoal-grilled Miyazaki Jitokko chicken will be distributed from 5:00 p.m.

The offer is limited to the first 250 visitors. The chicken must also be collected by 8:30 p.m.

Miyazaki Jitokko is a premium chicken brand from Miyazaki Prefecture.

The market also plans to sell shochu-and-soda drinks made with the Miyazaki sweet potato shochu brands Kurokoji Asahi Mannen and Shirokoji Asahi Mannen.

Outdoor DJs, Food Stalls, and Food Trucks

The outdoor event area will feature DJ performances by EDMA, an organization that promotes electronic dance music in Japan.

Food stalls and food trucks are scheduled to serve seafood skewers, grilled tuna collar, jerk chicken, Taiwanese food, and other dishes that pair well with craft beer.

Visitors will also be able to browse merchandise stalls while moving between the food and music areas.

Traditional festival-game booths for children are planned, making the event suitable for families as well as adults visiting for the music and craft beer. Families with young children may find the earlier hours easier to enjoy.

Parking: Paid parking is available in front of the market. Visitors planning to drink alcohol should use public transportation.

Weather policy: In severe weather, the event will be reduced in scale and held indoors.
