Urakawa Museum

This opened in 1978 in a renovated former elementary school building.
The museum is marked by the Yushun Gate with a statue of 32 horses on top.
Inside the museum, stuffed white-tailed eagles, ammonite fossils, Ainu ethnic materials, and other exhibits are displayed in five sections: “Nature in Urakawa,” “Urakawa in Ancient Times,” “Urakawa in its Early Days,” “Fishing in Urakawa,” and “Agriculture in Urakawa.”
