Momosuke Bridge

The Momosuke bridge is a wooden suspension bridge crossing the Kiso River.
The bridge was built in1922 by Fukuzawa Momosuke, founder of Daido Electric, formerly Kansai Electric, to facilitate the construction of the nearby Yomikaki hydroelectric plant.
The bridge with wooden stiffening girders is 247 meters long and 2.7 meters wide and is one of the longest of its kind in Japan.
