Myokaku-ji Temple
Myokaku-ji Temple is believed to have been built around the end of the Muromachi period (1336–1573).
Many plum trees grow on its precincts.
The refreshing smell of plum blossoms fills the air in spring. In early summer, beautiful hydrangeas bloom along the approach to the shrine.
The temple has a fudezuka monument dedicated to a teacher in 1854 and the largest itabi memorial monument in the city (112cm above ground).
They are both designated as cultural properties by Inagi City.
