Fudō-Bashi Bridge and Ishibashi Kuyōtō Stone Works

This is a bridge built at the confluence of the Motomachi Canal and the Nogawa River in Kokubunji village.
It is named for a monument to the north of it consecrated to Acala (Fudō Myōō), the God of Fire.
Next to the monument, there is a roadside stone called kōshintō, another stone called the Ishibashi (Stone Bridge) Tower, and pine trees between them.
The memorial tower was erected (rebuilt) in 1832 (Tenpō 3) in order to commemorate the Fudō-Bashi Bridge that had formerly been a stone bridge, and to prevent disasters from afflicting the village.
