Tokkarisho

The etymology of Tokkarisho is "Tokar Isho" (seal rock), which suggests that there were once many seals in the area.
Located between golden cliffs and Itanki beach, the green belt and strange rocks comprising the cliffs' landscape provide an intriguing contrast with the silence of the sea on the left. It is a scenic spot that represents Muroran.
It was designated as one of the eight views that represent Muroran as a place, and "Scenic Beauty Pirika Noka Etomo Peninsula Outer Coast" was nationally recognised as a Cultural Property in 2012.
