Sakacho

“Sakacho,” which was a money changer from the Edo period and then prospered as a sake wholesaler, is a new tourist spot and facility that includes a mini gallery, a hall, an archive, food and beverages, and merchandise sales, and is intended to be a place of relaxation for citizens and a base for visitors to the city, as a city property with historical value as the remains of Koga Castle.
There is a misegura storehouse (the former Koga Castle fireproof storehouse for important documents such as account books, money, and other valuables), a sodegura storehouse (the former Koga Castle dry storehouse), a fireproof storehouse for important documents and other valuables, a stone storehouse, a middle storehouse, and the main building.
