Sanwa Museum

The Sanwa Museum opened in 2000 (Heisei 12) on the site of the former Sanwa Junior High School as a complex facility with a library, and is affectionately known as "San-Sun-Kan (Brilliant Sun Museum)," the nickname for the library and museum.
Although there is no permanent exhibition, the museum houses about 50,000 historical materials, mainly from the Sanwa district of Koga City, and holds exhibitions of materials in the museum collection and special exhibitions on community-based themes two to three times a year, as well as various lectures.
The library also has a reading room where basic reference books and dictionaries for local studies and historical research are available for browsing.
