Higashikawa Bunka Gallery

Higashikawa Bunka Gallery in the so-called "Town of Photography" opened in 1989 to play a central role in promoting photography culture.
Higashikawa was declared as the "Town of Photography" in 1985. It hosts the "Higashikawa International Photography Festival" each year, and has since become a hub for cultural exhibitions that work to promote the development of art and culture, as well as announce regional events.
