Kinshoji Temple

Kinshoji Temple is said to have been founded by Gyoki in 746 during the Nara period (746-784).
On the south side of the main temple hall, there are 14 Buddhist statues carved on rock faces, including an image of Fudo Myoo (or "Noble Immovable Lord").
One of the statues, Jizo Bosatsu, is inscribed with the name Cha Cha Gyakushu, which is believed to be the wife of Sakon Shima.
