Gyokurinen, a 160 year old traditional tea shop and producer of Green Soft ice cream, is said to be the originator of green tea ice cream, now popular all over the world.
It is popular for its crispy sweetness, preserving both the original colour and flavour of matcha.
The tea leaves,100% domestically produced, are carefully ground in a stone mortar.
