How to Participate in the Stamp Rally
Collect stamps by purchasing submarine-themed “Sub-Sandwiches” or certified goods at 16 participating locations.
Participation Rules:
- Get 1 stamp per eligible item purchased.
- One stamp per shop (except if offering multiple sandwich types).
- Submit your stamp sheet to Dobuita Station to claim prizes.
Prize Tiers:
- 3 stamps: Yokosuka Navy Curry (retort pouch) – First 100
- 6 stamps: Certified Tote Bag – First 50
- 8 stamps: Certified T-Shirt – First 30
- 16 stamps: Submarine Charm – For all participants
- 16 stamps + entry: Chance to win a Submarine Dining Experience (10 winners via lottery)
Note: The Submarine Dining Experience (Prize W Chance) is not on a first-come, first-served basis. Winners will be chosen by lottery from postcard entries. Please refer to the detailed guidelines for more information.
Background and Purpose
Yokosuka is a “City Where You Can Meet Submarines.” This event brings that theme to life through unique local experiences and products.
Following the successful collaboration in 2024, where a real crew member’s recipe became a commercial product, this second edition aims to boost local branding and revitalize foot traffic around Dobuita Street.
It’s a joint initiative between local businesses and the JMSDF to promote tourism and regional charm.

A total of 16 eateries, retail stores, and sightseeing facilities along Dobuita Street are joining the event.
Each offers submarine-themed “Sub-Sandwiches,” exclusive merchandise, or both.
