| Umibe Fishing Park
Seaside Fishing Park is a popular spot for fishing with a view of Sarushima and the Boso Peninsula.
There is a fishing plaza with a boardwalk stretching approximately 500 metres.
The grass square has fun children’s playground equipment.
You can enjoy sea fishing in all four seasons, and a plaza and other facilities for the whole family to enjoy together.
Free to use. But please consult with us in advance if you plan to use it in a group.
If you wish, fishing advisors from the fishing tool manufacturer Yamaria staff are available to help beginners with their fishing skills every month during the season from April to November, on one Sunday from 9:30am – 5:00pm.

| Sarushima
Sarushima is a great rock and surf fishing spot for large sea bass and whitebait!
A 10-minute boat trip from Mikasa Pier makes for an easy visit.
The island was formerly a naval fortress, and as civilian access was forbidden until the end of the war, it retains a rich natural environment.
The old military facilities, such as brick tunnels and gun emplacements offer an excellent place for exploration.

Leopard octopus has been reported in Kanagawa Prefecture.
The saliva of the leopard octopus contains tetrodotoxin, the same toxin found in pufferfish. Its bite can make you feel sick and sometimes cause breathing difficulties, which can be very dangerous.
When fishing or playing on the beach, if you encounter a small octopus, please do not touch.
