“Yokosuka Route Museum” Ekikara Hiking course

This is the third in a series of opportunities to experience the so called Yokosuka Route Museum, a voyage of discovery of the history, culture, and natural surroundings of Yokosuka.

This time, you will discover the Kinugasa area, a place associated with the Miura clan.
It will start from the JR Kinugasa Station.

Sunday 22 May is cancelled as the Kinugasa Administrative Centre is closed all day.
LocationDepart from, and return to, the JR Kinugasa Station
Registration is at the Kinugasa Community Centre on the 2nd floor of the Kinugasa Administrative Centre.

About the event

1.Please go directly to the Kinugasa Community Centre, on the 2nd floor of the Kinugasa Administrative Centre between 9:00 and 11:30.
Please note that parking and bicycle parking are not available

2.Register using the ‘Hiking from the station’ app
Download the app, press the ‘Join a course’ button and select the course you wish to participate in. The app will confirm registration with ‘Participation accepted’.

Ekikara Hiking course

JR Kinugasa Station → Kinugasa Community Centre (start) → Manjoji Temple → Chikata Shrine → Ancient ruins of Yakuouji Temple → Harakirimatsu Park → Seiunji Temple → Daizenji Temple → Kinugasa Castle Site → 
Kinugasa Castle ruins → Mt Kinugasa Park Observatory → Kinugasa Shrine (goal) →
JR Kinugasa Station
