Experience the enchanting Yokosuka winter illumination that grace Yokosuka’s night skyline, adding a distinctive charm to this coastal city. Join us as we explore the magical spectacle painting winter nights in hues of wonder and warmth.
About: Yokosuka Winter Illumination
The unique scenery of Yokosuka and the night view of Verny Park will be adorned with illumination featuring a champagne gold theme. Illuminations are also set up around the park’s vicinity, including the adjacent Coasca Bayside Stores and Shioiri Station, creating a collaborative display with illuminated facilities like Thibaudier Mansion. This turns the entire Shioiri area into a vibrant new illumination spot in Yokosuka.
Additionally, a countdown event is scheduled for December 31 (Sunday), marking its return after four years.

December 8, 2023 (Friday) to February 2024 (scheduled)
Illumination Hours:
- Lighting – 5:00 PM (5:30 PM in February)
- Extinction – 9:00 PM
- Note: The schedule may vary due to other events.
Lighting Ceremony
- December 8 (Friday)
- 6:00 PM
After the lighting ceremony, a limited 50 cups of complimentary AMALFI special hot wine (red) will be available at the takeout counter of the park’s restaurant, “AMALFI Marina Blu.”
The terrace of Thibodeau Residence is also open for use, allowing you to relax while enjoying AMALFI’s special drinks.
