Fig Agar (Jelly)
"Fig Agar" can be enjoyed at any shop, by anyone.
With guidance from Fumiyo Kawakami, the Cooking Ambassador of Tateyama, we, the Tateyama Chamber of Commerce, developed "Fig Agar" as a group of hotels, inns, restaurants, dining halls, and cafes in Tateyama City!
Figs, which come into season in the fall, often vary in shape even though the taste is unchanged, so to make effective use of that, we cooperate with the "Tateyama City Fig Association" in product development, with 2020 being our 7th year, and we have provided over 80,000 meals in 6 years.
This dish is normally offered from September until the end of August.
