Yokosuka Uraga Dry Docks Tour – Experience the History of a Meiji-Era Shipyard (February 16 & March 2, 2025)

The Yokosuka Uraga Dry Dock (Former Yokosuka Arsenal), built in 1899, played a crucial role in Japan’s shipbuilding industry for over a century. More than 1,000 ships were constructed and repaired here before the dock closed in 2003. This guided tour offers a rare opportunity to explore the historical brick-built dry dock and learn about its rich history.
