Hachinohe Sake Brewery

A long-established sake brewery founded in 1775.
The brick warehouse, earthen storehouse, wooden storefront, and main building, all built in the Taisho era (1912-1926), are designated nationally as registered tangible cultural properties and designated by the prefecture as a place of scenic beauty.
The brewery focuses on using sake rice and yeast produced locally in Aomori Prefecture and is committed to brewing sake in a healthy and environmentally friendly manner.
Mutsu Otokoyama, a classic, is a dry sake loved by the local fishing community, while Hassen is characterized by its elegant aroma and refreshing sweetness.
You can tour the brewery, where you can learn about the sake brewing process and the historic buildings.
You can also enjoy tastings and experience the variety.
